Five men in black suits perform in a tiny room; their instruments plugged not into an amp, but into an air conditioning unit. As you think that this may be the extent of the video concept, a little boy comes out and starts playing the air guitar in time with the band. This was the concept for a 1980s music video by Russian band Zvuki Mu for the song "Grubiy Zakat", which inspired modern American band The National to make their own.
The National will release their sixth album, Trouble Will Find Me, on May 21.
