R.I.P., Deke Richards

Earlier this year, on March 24, songwriter Deke Richards passed away at 68 years old.

Deke was a songwriter for Motown who helped pen many Jackson 5 hits, such as "ABC," "Sugar Daddy" and "I Want You Back" as a member of The Corporation. After The Corporation disbanded, he continued writing songs from Diana Ross. He passed away from esophageal cancer in March.
