Upcoming Album of the Week (Ending April 2)

Well, it's only been seven weeks since its Tidal-only release, but Kanye West is finally (theoretically) finished tweaking The Life of Pablo and has released it on other platforms. Most artists aren't quite so fickle with releasing new music, so it's easier to trust their announcements. Check out what's set to be released on my Upcoming Releases page!

This week, Spencer Krug announced a new album as Moonface and is once again partnering up with Finnish band Siinai; the album's name is My Best Human Face.

Moonface and Siinai first got together in 2011, not long after Krug's former band, Wolf Parade, went on hiatus. Together, they released Heartbreaking Bravery in 2012. Krug met Siinai while touring with Wolf Parade in 2009, when they were still known as Joensuu 1685. The partnership came about when they needed a lead vocalist for a project.

Both have released other albums in the years since, Krug released Julia with Blue Jeans On in 2013 and Siinai had 2014's Supermarket. The announcement of their reunion album came with a new single, "Risto's Riff."

My Best Human Face is set for release on June 3.
