Indie Crossover: Rosabi IPA

A few months back, I posted about a new EP, Rosabi, from Julianna Barwick as a part of my New Music Tuesday series. The EP was released in conjunction with a beer of the same name, from Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, Delaware.

Take a listen "Meet You at Midnight," from the EP!

I was on a shopping trip with my boyfriend, Adrian, this past weekend to Jungle Jim's (a local grocery store where you can find just about any and everything). We were browsing beers, when I saw Rosabi for sale in the large format East Coast section! Although I'm not overly fond of IPAs, I quickly grabbed a bottle and brought it home with me.

I decided to have some earlier this evening along with my dinner (and maybe a little more after), and it's really good! I usually find IPAs to be far too hoppy for my taste and those that aren't can often be fairly bland. This one was a good balance though, not very hoppy, but good flavor. It was brewed with wasabi and, while it's not overwhelming, that flavor definitely comes through.

I'm by no means a beer expert, nor do I make a habit of reviewing brews, but if Dogfish Head keeps selling this, I'll keep buying!
