 Lion Babe - Begin Lion Babe is made up of producer Lucas Goodman and vocalist Jillian Hervey, the daughter of Vanessa Williams. They met through mutual friends and released their first single together in 2012. Their production is inspired by the likes of Flying Lotus and Timbaland, while Hervey takes inspiration from classic vocalists like Chaka Khan. Begin is their first album.  The Skiffle Players - Skifflin’ Skiffle refers to a musical genre, inspired by jazz, blues, and folk, which all but disappeared from American lexicon by the 1940s. The genre had a brief revival in the 1950s and 1960s in Britain, but one American performer is giving it another go. Cass McCombs formed this side project with Neal Casal, Dan Horne, Dave Scher, and Aaron Speske. This is the first new material from him since 2013's Big Wheel and Others.
