Best and worst dressed at the SAG Awards

Due to not yet having cable at my new place, I didn't actually get the chance to watch the SAG Awards, but I have reviewed the Red Carpet pictures and decided who I think looked good, and who didn't.

Best Dressed

5. Tina Fey in Oscar de la Renta
Tina Fey
She's always either hit or miss, rarely in-between. This is a big hit and I'm so happy to finally see her in a bright color!

4. Natalie Portman in Azzaro
Natalie Portman
Finally! I good Natalie Portman pregnancy look. She looks ethereal in white and, for once, the dress is not just hanging on her like a potato sack.

3. January Jones in Carolina Herrera
January Jones
I think it's impossible for this girl to look bad. Even going in the exact opposite direction as her GG dress, she looks amazing.

2. Julia Stiles in Monique Lhuillier
Julia Stiles
I think someone finally told her how she's supposed to dress at these things. She looks like she actually belongs at the show in one of the best dresses of the evening.

1. Mila Kunis in Alexander McQueen
Mila Kunis
Another actress who can seemingly do no wrong. I like seeing patterned dresses on the Red Carpet and this dress (which, I'm pretty sure, is from the same collection as Mrs. Obama's controversial State Dinner dress) is one of the best I've ever seen.

Who else looked good: Claire Danes, Heather Morris & Lea Michele.

Worst Dressed

5. Kate Mara in Herve Leger
Kate Mara
So that's where my used coffee filters disappeared too. This looks so uncomfortable and it just is not working for her in any way.

4. Julie Bowen in Malandrino
Julie Bowen
This isn't here necessarily because she looks bad in it, but more because it seems wholly inappropriate for the event. I think the SAG Awards call for something a bit dressier.

3. Nicole Kidman in Nina Ricci
Nicole Kidman
Kidman is someone who should be able to do no wrong: statuesque, beautiful alabaster skin, red hair. Yet somehow, she always misses. Here, the neckline is too high, the necklace clashes and her hair just looks greasy. Get it together Nic!

2. Winona Ryder in Alberta Ferretti
Winona Ryder
Someone looks out of place and I think she knows it. It's not a bad dress, technically, but it's just not working for her. Winona was so awesome, but, these days, she just reeks of 'has-been.' I hope she comes back.

1. Christina Hendricks in L'Wren Scott
Christina Hendricks
Ugh. This woman has an amazing body, but one that needs to be dressed very carefully. She needs something lighter than this, it does less than nothing for her.

Who else SAGged in style: Kim Kardashian (why was she even there?), Jayma Mays, & Eva Longoria.

A lot of people fell in the middle, but one deserves some special recognition.

Most Improved

Helena Bonham Carter
Helena Bonham Carter
It's not spectacular but it is kinda cute and her shoes match! To some degree, though, I prefer her in the kookier looks, she's more interesting than most other actresses.
